Broadway Harmony and Uxorious set for spring
June 15th 2010: Broadway Harmony returns to training this week after a short spell .She will contest the Dermody Stakes at Morphettville on July 31st, a mixed 2yr old and 3yr old listed event over 1050m. She is then likely to line up in the Quezzette Stakes at Caulfield on August 14th over 1100m against the 3 yr old fillies. Darren Weir said today that this exciting filly had spelled well on the Gold Coast after winning 2 of her 4 starts in her 1st preparation including an Adelaide listed event and that the form around her of Jessies Girl and Presscard had franked her form as a top line speed filly.
Another of ATB`s promising horses Uxorious, a 3 time winner from only 4 starts has also returned to training this week. The Matthew Williams trained son of Choisir is an exciting horse in the making and is set to contest some of the early spring races this campaign. “He is really untapped and if we can get him to settle, well the sky is the limit with this fellow” Williams said today.
ATB currently have all of their 2 yr olds back in training for a spring preparation as well as some very nice 3 yr olds by leading and proven sires that include Encosta Delago, Falbrav, Dehere, Choisir, Statue of Liberty, Testa Rossa ,Rubiton, Pins and Flying Spur. We are really looking forward to this spring as many of the horses have shown that they have above average ability in training and have been given time to mature.
